National Beard and Moustache Championships

The National Beard and Moustache Championships (@beardchampsusa) . More than 300 contestants traveled from across the country to @350brewingcompanyin Tinley Park, IL, to compete. Those competing were split up into 45 separate categories, ranging from Fu Manchu to Musketeer, and of course, one of the most creative - "Full Beard Freestyle", each with an individual set of rules. Each category’s winner was determined by a panel of judges comprising former champions and facial hair experts.
Year after year, the eccentric entrants of the National Beard and Moustache Championships wow us with their creatively coiffed facial hair. These dramatic looks emphasize length and focus on sculpting skills. Some contestants took a theatrical approach to the competition, styling their facial hair to complement a range of clever costumes. Each one-of-a-kind ‘do simultaneously showcases the individual’s unique style and the impressive extent of his hairstyling abilities.
