Minneapolis ICE Protests
From the assignment for The Telegraph with the reporter Robert Mendick in Minneapolis, documenting ongoing protests on Jan 17-19, a week after Renee Good was shot in south Minneapolis. Protesters continue to gather outside the Whipple Federal Building, where federal agents are headquartered, in sub-zero temperatures to protest ICE activity — even as the Trump administration threatens to invoke the Insurrection Act, and the National Guard is on alert. From the haunting "Handmaids" in gas masks to the frozen memorial to Renee Good on Portland Avenue, visuals tell the story of how grief and resistance are woven into the community's fabric. Some of these photos were published in an article, and some are outtakes. Read full publication https://lnkd.in/e6N_rJqB 🔗
